Hello shifters!
So I’ve pondered what the name of this website should look like for a long time. During this time I asked what I’m really doing here on planet earth, why now, why here, why me? If you’ve asked yourself these questions, I think we’ll get along just fine.
I’ve determined that I’m a shift coach – and I do this exclusively through the practice of Christian Science. It brings physical healing, spiritual revelation, and shift all in one. My office is wherever I am, my hours are whenever I’m available, and my value is whatever I can do. It’s the greatest.
After releasing an app developed with a tech incubator in New York City, I went into monk mode for nearly a year. This time was spent reading ten chapters of The Holy Bible a day, a chapter of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and other works written by Mrs. Eddy. If Jesus is my guru, Eddy is my mahatma. She brought me to a personal relationship with my savior Jesus Christ through Science, through evidence of Christian healing, and through logic and love. In a world full of sheepskin wolves, her writings and church were necessary to finding my road to salvation.
This time also included hours of daily transcendental meditation – I don’t follow a certain school or style. I just get still and listen. In this state of stillness and oneness with the divine Consciousness, I have healed diagnosed diseases that doctors and alternative practitioners could not, broken bones, and mental and emotional agony.
After more then a year of this kind of quiet, low-key practice I feel like the Holy Spirit is calling me to a new expression. This expression became very clear at last year’s Burning Man art festival. I experienced some major shifting myself, and as a result I feel like there are three elements of the journey I am called to witness and live:
1. Unity! No more labels! No more “I’m a this so I cant do this…” Nonsense! My God is infinite enough to allow us all to be strong and benevolent in our diverse earth identities. So I can be a Christian Scientist and you can be a Buddhist and she can be an Evangelical and that guy can be a Muslim and we can all love one another – my God is that big!!! Is yours?
2. Peace! During this time of shift there is going to be a lot of stirring, a lot of newness, a lot of foreign goodness-tingle being felt. That’s awesome. But there needs to be armies of comforters out there assuring people that it is ok! Steve Jobs has given an example for what this successfully looks like better then anyone else on the planet – it’s called Apple. I think of myself as a Genius Bar employee, except the whole world is my Genius Bar. Capiche?
3. Discovery! In an information age it’s all about software. Forget hardware. Through our portals into the cloud, we can ask just about any question and get an answer. Access to these portals is valuable, but not entirely necessary. One portal matters more then all others because we ALL have access to it – that portal is prayer/meditation/peace of mind. When we close our eyes and pause to listen we connect with the universal Cloud. Have you logged in today? If not, pause right now while you’re reading this, turn your music off, get quiet, and listen. The voice you hear filled with truth is the voice of God. All we have to do is tune in. Isn’t that amazing?
So this site will attempt to document and share the shift with whoever is willing to listen. I’m not going to push it on you, make you think the way I think, or judge you for taking another path to get to the same destination. But I will be bold, I will be real, and I will be a Christian.
There are many more like me out there. This is the shift. You Can’t Escape it.
